Our Review Board

Castle Institutional Review Board consists of an expert group of scientific and non-scientific members who are dedicated to advancing research while maintaining participant safety and welfare. The members have over 50 years of research and IRB experience from academic and independent IRBs.

The Board Members include health literacy experts, patient advocates and rare disease parents as well as physicians, specialists and ethicists. Board members are provided with ongoing education and have to complete a formal training and mentoring program upon joining the Board. Castle IRB members meet all requirements for the federal regulations for IRB membership.

Castle IRB Committee members: we are seeking health care professionals, clinical trialists, ethicists, patient advocates and clinical research professionals who want to help advance cutting-edge treatments safely. We have particular interest in physicians in areas of Oncology, Rare Disease, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, and Pediatrics.
